Miwok Middle School is known as “The Pride of the City.” We are proud that Miwok is a destination school for students from all over the greater Sacramento area. We strive to maintain a culturally inclusive environment where differences are valued and honored, and where all students feel they are safe and welcome. Our mission is to create an academic environment where students will be able to critically think, problem solve, work collaboratively, write proficiently, and possess skills necessary for future success. Our talented faculty at Miwok provides students with a challenging and rigorous curriculum that has resulted in Miwok students being among the highest achieving students in Sacramento. We provide ample opportunities for students to flourish in the classroom, on the field, and in the community. Our students also have the option to join a vast number of sports, clubs, and extracurricular activities to keep them engaged and explore their interests. Our campus is filled with school spirit and pride, as we believe middle school should be a place where students should be challenged, have fun, and thrive.
