Internal Audit

The Internal Audit Department helps ensure that the critical function of fiscal accountability is maintained and that procedures are complied with to protect district resources. Functions of this department include:

• Providing technical support and training to district personnel in the areas of fiscal, state, and federal compliance
• Coordination of the annual independent audit and other external fiscal and compliance audits
• Performance of audits and investigations in various areas, such as attendance, student body, and instructional minute offerings
