American Legion is a credit recovery high school, which proudly works with students from diverse backgrounds and needs. The staff at American Legion High School delivers instruction to students in a small classroom setting. The smaller class size provides a greater level of personal attention, which allows teachers to support academic preparedness along with social/ emotional intervention, which is a key component of success for students.

Ethel Phillips is in a working class community, that hosts an Early-Exit Transitional Spanish Bilingual Program.
