Open to all 9th-12th grade students in Sacramento County Jury Appreciation Week Poster Contest Guidelines Selection Does HRT OF Execution of the theme: Does the Artwork Original, hand-created poster clearly depict an aspect ofRE Kartwork posters. All art styles Jury Service? RI Creativity: Originality and uniqueness of the artist's idea of Jury Service. Overall Impression: The artwork clearly reflects the message of Jury Service in good taste. Deadline: Due by May 6, 2025. Deliver to the Gordon D. Schaber Sacramento County Courthouse, will be accepted. Submissions may be the work of an individual or group. Artwork must make a visual statement about Jury Service and/or jurors serving. Images with text are accepted. • The poster must measure 11" x 17" Prize Pizza party with judicial officers 720 9th Street, Room 203, and/or Jury Commissioner. Sacramento County Courts Jury Appreciation Week Poster Contest
High School

The Sacramento Superior Court is now accepting entries for its third annual Jury Appreciation Week Poster Contest.

This poster contest allows 9th- through 12th-grade students living in Sacramento County to express their interpretation of Jury Service by making hand-crafted posters. Students are encouraged to express their perspectives on jury duty creatively.

The City of Sacramento City Attorney’s Office (CAO) is excited to invite 7th and 8th grade students to participate in the LAW DAY 2025 Contest!

What is Law Day?

Established in 1958 by President Dwight D. Eisenhower and officially recognized by Congress in 1961, Law Day is celebrated every May 1st to honor the principles of government under law. This year, we encourage students to explore how the Constitution unites us as a nation.

Parent/Guardian California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS)
All Grades

The California Healthy Kids Survey (CHKS) invitations are being sent to parent/guardians through ParentSquare on Friday, January 31.  

The survey is voluntary, anonymous, and takes about 20 minutes. Parent/guardians are asked to complete the survey by February 10, 2025.

Black Parent Involvement Day 2025
All Grades

Dear Site Leaders,

The Black Parallel School Board is hosting Black Parent Involvement Day, an annual event during Black History Month that invites parents to engage with their student’s education by observing classes and meeting teachers. You are encouraged to participate and help spread the word with your school community. Flyers are attached that you may use to help promote Black Parent Involvement Day. 

Black Parent Involvement Day will be on Tuesday, February 18 this year.
