(ELPAC) replaces the California English Language Development Test

English Language Development Standards and is comprised of two
assessments: 1) An initial assessment used to identify students
as English learners and 2) An annual summative assessment to
measure a student’s progress in learning English their English
language proficiency level.
The ELPAC will go operational in 2018.
