Please see below for the parent-facing back-to-school communication that is being sent by text and email to all families in our district this afternoon.

In addition, here are some notes about forthcoming back-to-school communications:

• 8/22 - We will send an additional message out including the LCFF application, expanded learning, RT Ryde Free.
  • Please help us share the LCFF application in an upcoming communication from your school site: https://scusd.rocketscanapps.com/Default.aspx
  • Please help us share expanded learning opportunities via our Youth Development website: https://www.youthdevelopmentscusd.org
• 8/25 - We will send another message out including whether or not indoor masking will be required on the first day of school. The CDC releases their community level info that will impact our first day of school on 8/25. We are currently in the medium level and anticipate masking being recommended the first day of school but will confirm once next week’s CDC community level update is released. This message will also include the student and parent handbook link, the LCFF app again, and info about accessing and updating contact information in Infinite Campus. Please help us share the student and parent handbook link which will be ready to share with you no later than 8/25 (the online form is currently in development).
  • We are encouraging digital signatures on the handbook to minimize paper usage and make the process more efficient.
