Update re: Shift to TK Classroom Only
Dear TK Families of Sacramento City Unified School District,
Happy New School Year! Hope this message finds you and your loved ones doing well. This is to notify you of a slight change in programming for your child. However, the good news is that we have the resources to ensure your child has a full day of learning.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, the TK Collaborative Classroom is now Transitional Kindergarten only. This means the TK class is 3 hours and 20 minutes in the morning and taught by one teacher and one instructional aide. The Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) will facilitate the rest of the day to guarantee at least 6 hours of learning and care.
Please contact your Principal for more information and details. The Early Learning and Care Department and the Youth Development Department are available to assist the school sites.
