Community Listening Sessions

e-Connections Post

Hello Sacramento City Unified Families,

On behalf of the entire SCUSD Board of Education, I would like to invite you to help us shape the future of our school district. As school board members, our job is to represent the community’s vision and your values. But we can’t represent the community well if we aren’t listening to the community.

Over the next few weeks, the Board will engage in a listening campaign to hear directly from families about their vision for our children and the important values that the school district must honor. We’ll use that feedback to create our 5-year priorities for our district’s next strategic plan.

I urge you to attend any of the listening sessions scheduled across all seven Trustee areas of the school district. This will be an opportunity for you to share directly with school board members your vision and priorities for the district as a whole.
