is to meet or exceed your expectations. The Matriculation &
Orientation Center is the district’s centralized registration
office for in-take of new language minority students to
Sacramento City Unified School District.
It provides Assessor-Translators who perform numerous
language-related services linking parents to district programs.
Languages are available in Spanish, Hmong, Chinese, Russian,
Vietnamese and Mien. For more information to your questions,

Welcome to SCUSD’s Language Immersion Home Page. Our
district is working diligently to provide opportunities for our
students to expand their linguistic repertoire to meet the
ever-changing needs of the global economy. As a result,
language immersion programs have become a pathway for our
students to become literate in both English and their home
