The District is shifting management of health care benefits beginning January 1, 2015 and will result in ongoing savings of millions of dollars annually. A portion of these savings will be used to stabilize District finances and help us begin to restore some positions and programs cut during the recession. Another portion will be directed to partially offset our District’s unfunded liability with regards to the skyrocketing cost of retiree health benefits.
Our district has partnered with Atomic Learning to provide the highest quality technology training resources available in a multitude of subjects.
Atomic Learning offers teachers and staff the opportunity to access technology-focused professional development 24 hours a day, seven days a week — ensuring you have the answers you and your students need, exactly when and where you need them. Tutorials are available on over 205 applications.
