This is a reminder that the trainings for the new mathematics instructional materials and English Language Arts supplemental materials will take place from August 4-21.These trainings are voluntary and those attending will be paid at the $37.13/hour rate.
We are excited to report that close to 4000 students have been served across 34 SCUSD Summer Matters programs this summer! Programs range from site-based elementary students learning about history while exploring time travel, to transitioning middle and high school students engaged in Service Learning projects, to students working in internships at City Hall and MUCH, MUCH MORE.
Our district has partnered with Atomic Learning to provide the highest quality technology training resources available in a multitude of subjects.
Atomic Learning offers teachers and staff the opportunity to access technology-focused professional development 24 hours a day, seven days a week — ensuring you have the answers you and your students need, exactly when and where you need them. Tutorials are available on over 205 applications.
Whenever first aid is provided to a student, the Report of Incident
or Student Accident Form must be completed. If an accident or incident occurs involving a non-student or non-employee such as visitor or parent, the same form must be completed. This information is confidential and privileged and should not be provided to a parent or other person.
