This Wednesday, April 22, Sac City Unified will distribute computers to families of high school students at the below schools only. We will offer a make-up day for other schools on another date.
We will distribute one (1) computer per family of high school students.
As additional computers are made available, we ultimately expect to provide each of our students with a computer, if they do not have a computer at home. As such, we will announce additional distribution dates soon.
This Friday, April 17, Sac City Unified will distribute computers to families of students in grades 7 and 8, as well as students who were unable to pick up a computer during prior computer distribution events.

This Friday and Saturday, Sac City Unified will distribute approximately 8,600 additional computers to our students. On April 3, Sac City Unified distributed approximately 3,500 computers to students.
Soon after our school closure began, Sac City Unified rush-ordered 20,000 laptops for our students but, like many other districts, we are still waiting for shipments of them to arrive. We will continue to distribute computers from our current inventory as we wait for shipments of new computers to arrive.
When we departed from school on March 13, we had no idea that our students wouldn’t be coming back to our classrooms for the rest of the school year. Like you, we are learning, we are adjusting, and we are grieving. But our mission – to support our students’ academic, social and emotional needs – pushes us on.
***PLEASE NOTE: Students must visit their school of enrollment to pick up a computer. If your school is not listed below, please wait until a pick-up location is scheduled at your school site.
