The Enrollment Center is open throughout the school year. The Center is open Thursday evenings to better serve our families.

11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (please arrive no later than 6:15* PM)
8:00 AM -12:00 PM (please arrive no later than 11:15* AM )
Due to volume, the Enrollment Center can close to new registrants at 2:30pm so that staff can process those applicants already in line.

Kindergarten Registration for the 2014-2015 school year beginsWednesday, January 15, 2014.(Student must be 5 years old by September 1, 2014) Grades 1st -12th Registration for the 2014-2015 school year begins Monday, June 16, 2014.
PLEASE NOTE: The Enrollment Center will be closed on FRIDAY, April 11 – FRIDAY, April 18, 2014 for Spring Break. We will re-open Monday, April 21, 2014.
Please be advised that for the safety and security of all children only biological parents or legal guardians may enroll a child into our district. The person enrolling any child will be required to present the following documentation:
CURRENT mortgage/property tax bill or rental/lease agreement*
CURRENT utility bill (SMUD, PG&E, or WATER) with correct name and address*
Proof of birth – original COUNTY ISSUED birth certificate or passport
Individual Education Plan (IEP) if your child is receiving special education services
CURRENT withdrawal grades or transcripts (Grades 7-12)
Guardianship/Custody papers (if applicable)
*If residing with another person (relative, etc.), please complete the Declaration of Residence form and bring a photo ID of the person identified in the utility bill and mortgage/rental lease.
You may apply for an intra-district permit to have your child attend a school other than their neighborhood school of attendance. Permit transfers are approved based on space availability at the requested school. You can request an intra-district permit transfer from the Enrollment Center or print the attachment below.
*The following must be attached to the intra-district permit: Grades, Attendance Report, & BehaviorReport
If you would like to change schools from outside the district to a school within the Sacramento City Unified School District, you will need to request an inter-district permit transfer from your district of residence. Permit transfers are approved based on space availability at the requested school. A transcript and/or withdrawal grades as well as attendance and behavior reports are required when requesting an inter-district permit transfer into our district.
Students transferring from any continuation, private, charter, independent study or any of the following schools/sites must schedule a re-entry appointment with the Student Hearing & Placement Department to begin the registration process. Please call 643-9425 to make an appointment for re-entry.

*STUDENTS WHO HAVE NOT BEEN ENROLLED IN A SCHOOL FOR MORE THAN 30 DAYS WILL NEED TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT.
Passes may be purchased only for Sacramento City Unified School District Middle School and High School Students. However, there have been very few exceptions and any exceptions require the approval of the Director of Accounting Services.
Passes can be purchased by a student, parent and/or guardian.
