The Transportation Services Department provides
home-to-school/school-to-school busing services for approximately
3,098 students every day on over 133 routes. In addition,
approximately 2,500 other types of bus trips are provided each
year, such as class field trips, after school activity buses, and
athletic team buses. Over 2.3 million miles are driven annually
in support of the District’s student transportation program.
The Transportation Safety Plan helps ensure the safest and most
efficient form of student transportation. Communication is
the key to a successful school year and an essential part of the
education process.
