Open Enrollment for Retired Employees will be open September 25, 2017 and ends October 13, 2017. All changed are effective January 1, 2018. Qualified employees will receive a notification letter via USPS.
Your current benefits will remain the same unless you make changes during Open Enrollment.
Open Enrollment Process
- Enroll in a different medical plan
- Add or remove dependents from your medical plan
- Update or change your life insurance beneficiary
Please note: if you are adding a dependent, you will be required to provide proof of eligibility i.e., marriage/domestic partner certificate, birth certificate and social security card for all dependents being added.

Health and Wellness Fair for Open Enrollment
The District Health and Wellness Fair will be on October 6, 2017 from 10am – 4pm at the Serna Center. The Health and Wellness Fair is help during the Open Enrollment period and offers a chance for employees to speak to health providers.
Add dependents outside of Open Enrollment
Dependents must be added within 30 days of a qualifying event, such as marriage, birth, registered domestic partner or loss of coverage along with required documentation.
