Parents/guardians will be able to register their student for kindergarten online starting on January 16, 2024. To be eligible to register for kindergarten for Fall 2024, children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2024. Starting this year, all enrollment applications will be received online only.

Regional Kindergarten Enrollment Events

The following events are available for those who need technology and enrollment assistance to fill out their online enrollment application. Each of the six sites can assist with enrollment for ALL kindergarten locations:

• January 23, 4-6pm at David Lubin Elementary, 3535 M St, Sacramento, CA 95816
• January 24, 4-6pm at Rosa Parks K-8 School, 2250 68th Ave, Sacramento, CA 95822
• January 25, 4-6pm at Camellia Basic Elementary School, 6600 Cougar Dr, Sacramento, CA 95828

Open Enrollment

If you are interested in enrolling in one of our schools through Open Enrollment, the application will be available February 5-23, 2024.  It is recommended that you register your kindergartener at their neighborhood school before applying for Open Enrollment in case your child is not selected through the lottery.
