The district’s Child Development program provides continuous,
intensive and comprehensive center-based and home-based services
to expectant families, infants/toddlers, preschool and
school-age children. Our philosophical approach encompasses the
very nature of children and captures the essence of
developmentally appropriate learning experiences for all
children. We utilize a compendium of curricula, monitoring
and assessment tools to enhance and determine children’s
physical, social-emotional and intellectual growth, with
particular focus on children’s growth in the areas of literacy
and numeracy.
