Hello! My name is Christina Pritchett. I am a volunteer and, most importantly a parent within our district. I understand all too well the need for strong representation from our parents in order to have a strong school foundation. I believe that we need “quality education today, for our leaders of tomorrow.”

Raised in Sacramento by a struggling single mother; Jessie’s mom taught her that education was the key to opportunity in life. A proud product of public education, Jessie has spent the past nine years at the Campaign for College Opportunity where she works to increase college access and success for young people across the state. She successfully led efforts to improve college opportunities for thousands of low-income students in California and simplify the transfer process from community colleges to four-year universities.
Ellen believes school issues are neighborhood issues. Our local schools contribute immeasurably to our quality of neighborhood life. This focus fits well with her chosen profession, neighborhood volunteerism, education, and world-view.
Educated in SCUSD, she attended Sacramento High School, Sutter Middle School and David Lubin elementary, and is a Dragon, Miner and Dinosaur alumnus.
