Principal Access to 6th Grade Math Assessment Results from MDTP
Elementary and K-8 Schools

Principal Bulletin Informational

Several principals have expressed interest in seeing the results of their 6th grade students’ performance on the Grade 7 Math Readiness Assessment from the Mathematics Diagnostic Testing Project (MDTP). Since this portion of the assessment is being administered online this year via the MDTP platform, each administrator will need to create an account to log in and see results.

You will receive an email from MDTP to set your password to log in to the MDTP Online Site. If you don’t receive an email from MDTP or if you do not set your password within 24 hours, go to: https://mdtpdiagnostic.ucsd.edu, click on Educators and Readiness. Type in your district email and click “Forgot Password” and follow the directions from there.

For assistance with the MDTP Online System, please contact Suzie Craig, suzie-craig@scusd.edu.

Remember, the online assessment is just one of the multiple measures used to make the math course placement recommendations.

The scores for these questions, along with the other information collected to determine the math course placement recommendations, will be available via an Illuminate report once all schools have completed the process.
