New ADA Data
As you know, September is Attendance Awareness Month. The district has set a goal of 98% attendance for all school sites – if we are able to reach this mark, the positive impact will be felt socially and academically throughout the district.
We are sending out September ADA information for all schools to site administrators as a tool to help gauge your attendance rates and guide efforts to reduce chronic absence and improve overall attendance in real time. We have also included last year’s data from September so you can compare in order to evaluate new attendance practices and interventions you have put to use this year. This data refreshes every 3 hours. Remember, September counts may be slightly askew until all of the enrollment shifts have settled. Also, when looking at the current day’s ADA values it may not be accurate until later in the day when all attendance has been entered.
We will be sharing more information specific to chronic absence in the coming weeks.
Please let us know if you have any questions or would like additional information around attendance or the Be HERE campaign.
