Mental Health Crisis Response Procedures
A mental health crisis is a sudden, generally unanticipated event that profoundly and negatively affects the social and emotional well-being of a significant segment of the school population and often involves serious injury or death. Attached is a link to the Mental Health Crisis Response Procedures – https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Yf-OBr4TjMMtqx8uU43zXuXZD_MjxET55gGMgb3aTNU/edit?ts=5b8884df. Please follow these procedures if your school site is in need of a crisis response. Also, every school site and site administrator should have a Mental Health Crisis Response Binder. If you do not have a binder, please contact the Student Support & Health Services department to request a binder.
