Principal Bulletin Action Required - November 8, 2019

Please assist Technology Services in communicating the following information about an urgent service disruption today by delivering the following message to all school staff via intercom as soon as possible.

In addition, please distribute or prominently post the attached notice for staff to see.


—-INTERCOM MESSAGE BEGIN—-

Please be aware that all file servers and mapped drives (e.g., “H:”,”U:” and “S:”, etc. drives) will be unavailable starting at 12pm noon today (Friday November 8) through 7am on Tuesday, November 12.

Before noon today, and to prevent against accidental loss of data:

1. Please copy or save any documents required during the above maintenance window to your desktop, or they will be unavailable through the weekend.

2. Please copy any files saved to your home directory or on any of the district’s file servers since Monday, November 4 to your desktop. After file services have been restored, you will be able to replace the files as required.

This maintenance is required to ensure that affected or encrypted documents are removed from our network environment. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.
