Intelliswab At-Home/OTC Tests

Over-the-Counter tests for December and January should be on your campuses, ready for distribution. Distribute December’s tests Dec 21-23, and January’s tests Jan 11-13. This round of tests are all the Intelliswab brand. These look a little different than tests we’ve provided in the past, and take 30 minutes to result. This leaves more room for user error. Please print the out the At-Home Testing & Reporting Instructions along with this instructional Intelliswab flyer distribute it with these OTC tests. Since this is such a different test – we want to make sure everyone knows how to use it correctly. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B16-_Vvbkdk

Covid Exposure Notices – Reminder

If a student or staff person is positive for Covid and has been on site while infectious the principal or designee must send out notices to parent/guardians of the class/cohort(s) exposed - for every case.  Call the Covid HelpLine if you have questions – 916-559-0951.

Stock Up on Masks

Flu/RSV/Covid is spreading in our community.  Please ensure face masks are readily available in all our spaces and encourage their use on your school site.  If the Covid CDC Community Level for Sacramento County moves from medium to high, indoor masking will be required.

Immunization Monitoring and Compliance

The state reporting deadline for student immunizations is January 31, 2023. Schools must ensure all students are 100% compliant for immunization requirements.  Last week Health Services sent schools their current non-compliant lists and the required steps schools must take to meet this state requirement.  See the instructions for Immunization monitoring here.
