Fall 2018 EL Assurances Google Form
Every principal, regardless of the number of ELs in your school, is asked to complete the Fall 2018 EL Assurances Google form, found here. The form asks you to certify that:
- Teachers know who their EL students are and the students’ language proficiency levels
- “15% Schools” (where 15% of students speak one language other than English) have uploaded samples of translations of school-wide communications to their EL folder
- The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) for your school has dates scheduled and members enrolled.
It is required by law that site administrators oversee these three EL processes. It is required by law that districts oversee their completion at each site.

Completion of these processes must take place no later than December 14, 2018.
