Education for Homeless Children Board Policies
All Grades
The Student Support and Health Services and Legal departments are happy to announce ‘Education for Homeless Children’ policies. These policies comply with Federal and State Education Codes that require LEAs to ensure that all homeless children and youth have equal access to the same free, appropriate public education, including preschool education, as provided to other children and youths. The policies provide important protections and services for our most vulnerable students.
- Board Policy 6173: Revision approved by the Board on February 4, 2021
