Community Event to Support Student Mental Health
Middle, High School

Principal Bulletin Informational

Announcing an upcoming free virtual viewing of the film, Angst, hosted by Z-Cares, a local community organization.

Angst is an IndieFlix Original, documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents and a very special interview with Michael Phelps. This is a great opportunity for our families to gain a better understanding of mental health issues and how to get help if needed.

This event is open to all SCUSD families. See attached flyer for details and how to register for the event. Once registered, students and their families will have access to view the film from November 14th-16th. On November 17th at 6:30 there will also be a live panel discussion about the film and local mental health supports and resources.

See the attached flyer for additional information and registration link. Please share out to your students and families.
