3-9-2020 Updated COVID-19 Communicable Disease Management Guidance
We have revised the “Communicable Disease Management Plan – School Toolkit 2019-2020” to include the following:
- Revisions to SCUSD Communicable Disease Management Plan 19-20 Protocols and Procedures
- Disinfecting Protection Procedures During COVID-19
- California Department of Public Health – School Guidance on Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 – issued 3-7-2020
- Sacramento County Public Health – Recommended actions for schools during the current COVID-19 Outbreak – issued March 5, 2020
COVID-19 is designated as a reportable communicable disease. As
outlined in the toolkit, all staff must contact School Student
Support & Health Services immediately regarding any concerns
about potential exposure or diagnosis of COVID-19 (or any other
communicable disease). Health Services staff will assess each
concern or situation and will take appropriate action. See page
#5 – bullet 3 of the toolkit for list of contacts and phone
