We have revised the “Communicable Disease Management Plan – School Toolkit 2019-2020” to include the following:

  • Revisions to SCUSD Communicable Disease Management Plan 19-20 Protocols and Procedures
  • Disinfecting Protection Procedures During COVID-19
  • California Department of Public Health – School Guidance on Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 – issued 3-7-2020
  • Sacramento County Public Health – Recommended actions for schools during the current COVID-19 Outbreak – issued March 5, 2020

COVID-19 is designated as a reportable communicable disease. As outlined in the toolkit, all staff must contact School Student Support & Health Services immediately regarding any concerns about potential exposure or diagnosis of COVID-19 (or any other communicable disease). Health Services staff will assess each concern or situation and will take appropriate action. See page #5 – bullet 3 of the toolkit for list of contacts and phone numbers.
