Each person entering SCUSD sites, including staff, students, parent/guardians, must go through the screening process which includes a temperature check. In addition to offering handheld thermometers (which are cleaned after handling), the district will also offer walk-up thermal scanning units. This unit takes temperatures quickly and “touch-free.” Both the handheld units and the Thermal Scanning equipment are available at each site.
