The Sacramento City Unified School District (SCUSD) will provide the opportunity for parents whose children attend a program improvement school year 2 and beyond to apply for Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Free Tutoring as provided under Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA) Title-I.

Supplemental Educational Services (SES) program is designed to provide additional academic instruction to increase student achievement in English-language arts (ELA), mathematics, and/or science.

State-approved providers will offer services anytime outside of the regular school day. After school is the most common time for SES to be offered, but it could also take place before school or on weekends. SES can be offered at school sites, at a service center, community-based service site, in a student’s home or over the Internet.

If you are an approved SES provider who has received our Letter of Intent and would like to attend the mandatory meeting, please complete the Provider’s Response to the Letter of Intent and Survey and submit to SES@scusd.edu by August 20, 2012.
