COVID-19 Reporting and Illness Procedures for Staff and Students During the Pandemic

Post

During the COVID-19 pandemic new public health precautions have been established to prevent potentially infectious persons from coming to school and work sites.

More strict that usual, if you have symptoms of illness stay home – see the Stay at Home Requirements here.

For district staff: if you or a close contact of yours has been diagnosed with COVID-19 do not go to the work site.  Contact your supervisor immediately.

For students:  if you or a close contact of yours has been diagnosed with COVID-19 do not go to school.  Contact your school office immediately.

District staff work with Sacramento County Public Health to manage COVID-19 cases in staff and students.  Procedures for managing COVID-19 in the SCUSD community can be found here.

COVID-19 testing is available to all Sacramento County residents free of charge and encouraged for SCUSD staff and students as part of voluntary surveillance testing.  Find a testing site near you.
