At Oak Ridge, art isn’t just a subject—it’s a source of joy, creativity, and connection for students. During a recent listening session, when asked what they love most about their school, students overwhelmingly pointed to their art classes with Josalyn Robinson as one of the highlights of their experience.

"Art is the best part of the day besides recess!" one student shared, while another added, "We love having art class with Ms. Robinson on Friday!" Many students expressed how much they enjoy working on art projects, how they look forward to coloring, creating, and expressing themselves, and even how they have proudly created an "art wall" at home to display their work.

Their love for art matches their appreciation for Josalyn Robinson, whose enthusiasm and dedication make art class a favorite part of the week. In fact, when asked what they would change about school, students had just one request: "More time with Ms. Robinson—we wish we had her every week!"

These responses highlight the power of arts education in giving students a creative outlet, fostering self-expression, and making school a place they genuinely love. At Oak Ridge, art isn’t just an activity—it’s an essential part of what makes their school special.
