California Middle School Students Perform for Local Seniors

Students at California Middle School have been building meaningful connections in their community through a series of walking field trips to Eskaton Land Park. These young musicians have been performing for the senior residents, bringing not just music but joy, conversation, and companionship.

After each performance, students spend time chatting with residents, exchanging stories, and building intergenerational bonds that go beyond the music. It’s a powerful reminder that the arts connect us, create empathy, and help our students grow into thoughtful, community-minded citizens.

Bravo to the Cal Middle team for making this kind of outreach part of their program!
