Register for the 2026–2027 School Year Today!
Do you have a child who is ready to start school for the 2026–2027 school year, or do you know someone who does? School begins on Tuesday, August 11, so don't wait to register.
Enrollment processing takes 7–14 business days. Registering early helps ensure your child is ready for the first day of school and helps avoid delays.

Documents Needed to Register
Photo Identification
Government-issued photo ID or other photo identification for the parent, legal guardian, or educational rights holder (examples: driver's license, passport, work badge, student ID, Costco card)
Proof of Address
Provide one of the following (issued within the last 30 days unless otherwise noted):
- Current property tax bill
- Rental or lease agreement (if more than one year old or month-to-month, also provide the current month's rent receipt)
- Utility bill or service statement (SMUD, PG&E, or water)
- Voter registration
- Official correspondence from a government agency
- Recent pay stub
Proof of Birth
- Birth certificate
- Baptism certificate
- Valid passport
- Other acceptable proof of age as allowed by California Education Code
Immunization Records
- Current immunization record for each child
- Students entering grades 7–12 must have a Tdap booster
- Both the student's full name and birth date must appear on the record
- Free immunization clinics are available.
Additional Documents (if applicable)
- Current withdrawal grades and transcripts (grades 9–12 only)
- Guardianship or custody papers
- Individualized Education Program (IEP)
- Safe Haven School District
