Apply Now for 2026-2027 District Permits

Apply for an Inter or Inter-District Permit - April 27 - May. 15.

The SCUSD District Permit Application is now open! Families have until 5:00 pm on Friday, May 15, 2026, to submit applications. This is your opportunity to apply for your child to attend a school other than their assigned neighborhood school—or, if you live outside SCUSD boundaries, to request enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year. All placements are subject to space availability.

Permit Options

Intra-District Permits – for families living within SCUSD boundaries who want their child to attend a school other than their designated neighborhood school.

Inter-District Permits – for families living outside SCUSD boundaries who wish to enroll in an SCUSD school:

  1. Obtain an Inter-District Transfer Permit (ITP) from your home district and get it approved.
  2. Apply through SchoolMint, uploading the approved ITP and any supporting documents during the application window (April 27–May 15, 2026).
