P-EBT Cards
Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) cards are being sent to eligible CA families to provide food assistance benefits to those in need. You do NOT need to apply for P-EBT benefits. If you qualify, a card will be mailed to you automatically. Eligible families that need help with PIN set up, a replacement card, or didn’t receive their card, can call the P-EBT Helpline at (877) 328-9677.
If you use your P-EBT card at a Farmers Market, California Market Match will match your federal nutrition assistance benefits & DOUBLE the amount you can spend on fresh produce; meaning a shopper that spends $10 of benefits will receive an additional $10 to spend on produce. Use this tool from the Ecology Center to find your market. Receiving & using P-EBT benefits does NOT risk your immigration status & does NOT report your information to immigration services.
