See Progress on Hiram Johnson High School’s New Field
We are happy to share progress on Hiram Johnson High School’s new athletic field and facility that is expected to open around November 1st.
Construction crews have been working since June 2018 on the site and now are in progress of installing the new synthetic turf soccer/football field and all-weather surface 8-lane track.
Funding for the $5.3 million facility project comes from Measure Q, a $346 million bond measure passed in 2012 with 70 percent voter approval.
Thank you to our families and voters in the district for your support of this important project for our students and community!
