Dear Sac City Unified Families,

All schools will remain closed tomorrow, Monday, March 28, 2022, for student instruction and activities. We have been working all weekend to end this SCTA/SEIU strike through good faith bargaining, and are still negotiating with our labor partners. Because we know our families need to plan for tomorrow, we are confirming that all schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 28, 2022, although we remain hopeful to reach agreements with SCTA and SEIU soon, and that our labor partners will suspend the strike. 

We will continue to provide updates on our efforts to reach agreement with our labor partners. Please expect another message soon with more detail on the status of negotiations with SCTA and SEIU.
