Sacramento County CDC Community Level Update – Masks Strongly Recommended

e-Connections Post

SCUSD Families and Staff,

The CDC’s COVID Community Level for Sacramento County lowered to the Medium Level last week, and remained there this week. This means that indoor masking will not be required, but strongly encouraged, when students and staff return from Winter Break on Monday, January 9.

Before your return to school next week, please test using the provided at-home test kits that were distributed before the start of Winter Break. Click here to review instructions on how to use these tests and report your results.

Even if your Covid test is negative, do not come to school if experiencing fever or symptoms as Flu and RSV are still spreading this winter.  We urge our SCUSD community to follow these 5 tips from doctors across California for fighting winter virus.
