Rosemont Debate Team Competing in Coveted Tournament of Champions
Rosemont High School’s debate team, specifically seniors Jayden Watts and Kaitlin Raymond, secured a coveted Tournament of Champions bid on the national circuit of policy debate. They will compete next April at the University of Kentucky.
Of the thousands of high schools that participate in policy debate nationwide, only around two dozen may boast they have earned this distinction. Very few public high schools are able to succeed on this level as policy debate is the most rigorous academic activity in the country and is dominated by wealthy private schools.
Congratulations to these outstanding students for this phenomenal accomplishment!
