Phoebe Hearst’s Students Win Nature Bowl Competition
Phoebe Hearst Elementary School 3rd and 4th graders won the 33rd Annual Nature Bowl competition at Sacramento State University and took home the first place for the second straight year.
Nature Bowl is an annual, science-based educational program for 3rd - 6th graders that increases ecological knowledge and conservation literacy. In team settings, students rotate through stations where they eagerly learn about the environment while building teamwork skills and sharpening their creative and critical thinking.
The students trained for months and conducted field exploration in order to prepare for the competition.
