Parents must complete this form to maximize state funding for our schools
All families play a role in ensuring our schools are properly funded. You can do your part by making sure that you fill out and return to your school’s front office, the required Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) application form that you will be receiving in your child’s back to school packet during the first week of school. When you receive this form, please complete it and return to your school’s front office as soon as possible. A few important notes:
- Please be sure to fill out the entire application for every student in your household.
- Each completed LCFF application form must be returned to the specific school where each student attends.
Regardless of your economic status and/or whether or not your student qualifies for the free lunch program, the LCFF Application must be completed. This is because a large portion of the funds received from the state are based on the socio-economic status of our students. Collecting the required information on the form from all of our families will ensure our schools receive the maximum amount of state funding possible.
Please note that all information received by the district remains strictly confidential. For help on how to complete the LCFF application form in another language, or for language assistance, please contact the Matriculation and Orientation Center (MOC) at (916) 643-2162. If you have any other questions, please contact your school’s office.
