Online Registration Begins for 2020-21 Academic Year for K-12 Students
Over the upcoming weeks, we will be announcing the re-opening of many district services that we traditionally provide our community. From distance learning to online enrollment to remote counseling, we are working diligently to offer our students the resources they need to achieve academic and social and emotional success. For students that are currently enrolled and have no changes, you do not need to submit a new application.
“In times like these, our teams innovate,” said Superintendent Jorge Aguilar. “We commend our staff for their quick work to create this new process to ensure our students’ continued success. Despite our current challenge, we look forward to helping shape the bright futures of our students – of our current students and those we will meet in the upcoming year. We continue to demonstrate strength and resilience to our community. We are SCUSD strong and will get through this challenge together.”
To enroll students, families can complete the registration through online forms and upload all required documents, rather than coming into our enrollment office. This new process is mobile-friendly, and parents can use their smartphones to access them. The online system allows parents to upload all required registration documents digitally. Documents can be uploaded in PDF, DOC, JPEG, and other standard formats.
For those parents without computer access, hard copy forms will be available in Sac City Unfied’s Enrollment Center lobby beginning April 20, 2020, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Parents can submit the paperwork in a sealed envelope in a secure box at the Enrollment Center. This paperwork will be picked up each Friday and processed the following week. Please note that the Enrollment Center and the Matriculation Orientation Center (MOC) will be closed until further notice.
