National Eating Disorders Awareness Week starts February 24
Join the movement and come as you are!
National Eating Disorders Awareness Week (NEDA) is February 24 through March 1, 2020. We’re changing the conversation around food, body image, and eating disorders! Join the movement and #ComeAsYouAre, not as you think you should be.
The Sacramento City Unified School District Board of Education will be introducing a resolution recognizing February 24 through March 1st as the National Eating Disorders Awareness Week. We are spreading the word on how early detection, intervention, and awareness can make a positive difference in someone’s life. The board will be introducing a resolution next week on Thursday, February 20, 2020.
For 24/7 crisis support, please text ‘NEDA’ to 74174 or call the National Eating Disorders Helpline, which is toll-free, at 1-800-931-2237 from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (ET) Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays (ET).
