March 23 Deadline for Art of Kindness Project Submissions

Project submissions for the Art of Kindness Summit are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, March 23.

During the February Random Acts of Kindness Week, students were asked to participate in kindness activities each day. Students were also challenged to document their activities and produce an artistic or documentary product. The products will be showcased at the Serna Center on April 20 from 6 – 8 p.m. at a free event that is open to the public.

Students may document/present their acts of kindness in the following ways:

  • Visual Art (examples: painting, sketch, photography, sculpture, digital media, etc.)
  • Performance Art-10 minutes or less (examples: musical, dance, spoken words, etc.)
  • Service Project Documentary-5 minutes or less (example: PowerPoint presentation, video documentary, etc.)

Each project should include:

  • Student Name
  • Email Contact
  • School Name
  • Grade Level
  • A brief (one page or less) written reflection on how they demonstrated kindness in their project
