LubinTalks Inspires Creativity
David Lubin Elementary School is excited to host a series of discussions and on-stage interviews, “LubinTalks,” that brings families together to experience the inspiring stories of local innovators, artists, educators and thinkers.
On February 16, LubinTalks will present a panel of local artists, including Jane “Ms. Jane” Hastings — the school’s Resident Artist, Carla Gaye — local sculptor, and Liv Moe — Executive Director of Verge Center for the Arts. They will share with the audience their thoughts on the importance of the creative arts, tips for bringing art into the home and stories of what inspires them to create.
Last month, Holocaust survivor, Bernie Marks, was invited to share his experiences and teach endurance and strength. The audience was enthralled to hear his stories and learned the importance of a connection to our shared history.
The monthly, family-friendly evening event aims to strengthen the community to demonstrate for our youth the hope created and the power gained in working together.
