e-Connections Post

Sac City Unified is looking for parents who are interested in serving on the district’s LCAP Parent Advisory Committee. Are you interested in developing the district’s goals and plan for student achievement? Find out more by reading this article and apply at the link below.

What is the LCAP Parent Advisory Committee?

The Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) is the district’s plan to support student learning. One key aspect of the plan’s development is to ensure engagement with parents and guardians of the district’s highest-need students. A Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is established to review and comment on the plan. The LCAP PAC is appointed by members of the Board of Education. Interested parents, students or community members who wish to serve as a member of the LCAP PAC can submit an application by September 14, 2018.
