Ground Broken on New SES Engineering Lab
The new School of Engineering and Science (SES) Engineering Lab is now becoming a reality thanks to the help of some grant funding.
Ground was broken on Monday, November 26, 2018 with an excavator, scrapper and loader arriving at SES. This project is being funded through the Career Technical Education Incentive Grant (CTEIG) which Sacramento City Unified School District has been receiving over the past three years.
SES is the largest of the three projects that have been funded with the CTEIG monies. The purchase of specialty equipment for these projects is also part of the grant funding. Max Medina of WLC Architects designed the project and Jefferson Yu is the Project Manager. Anticipated completion is prior to the start of the 2019-2020 school year.
We look forward to keeping our community updated on when this project is complete and inviting you to the ribbon cutting ceremony!
