Free COVID Test Kits and Face Masks in Friday Meal Distribution

e-Connections Post

Dear Sac City Unified Families,

Today, striking activities continued that resulted in schools being closed for instruction. Our district’s negotiations team remained – and remains – ready to meet at the bargaining table to end the strike and hope to hear from SCTA soon about resuming such negotiations. Unfortunately, this means that our families should anticipate that all SCUSD campuses will be closed for student instruction and activities tomorrow, Friday, March 25.

We’ve updated our Negotiations Frequently Asked Questions with graphics and answers to your most pressing questions, such as what our most recent proposal to SCTA includes. Click here for more answers.

You can also read our latest proposal in its entirety. You may also read SCUSD’s dissent as well as SCTA’s concurrence to the full fact finding report that was released on Thursday, March 17.

With schools remaining closed for student instruction and activities tomorrow, Friday, March 25, SCUSD will be offering FREE at-home COVID-19 test kits and face masks in Friday’s meal distribution at nine community locations.
