If you struggled or are currently struggling to afford your Internet bill during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Emergency Connectivity Fund (ECF) may be able to help you.

This federal program will provide the Sacramento City Unified School District with funds to cover the monthly cost of Internet access in qualifying homes or purchase equipment such as laptops and tablets for qualifying students.

To see if your family qualifies for this assistance, fill out the Computer and Internet Availability Form at https://forms.gle/j9ecVeyF8ikjC7pz6. Families that qualify will be contacted by the end of August by Sac City Unified. 

About the Emergency Connectivity Fund Program

The Emergency Connectivity Fund is a $7.17 billion program funded by the American Rescue Plan Act to help schools and libraries support remote learning. The program provides funding to schools and libraries for the reasonable costs of eligible equipment and services that can be provided to students, teachers, and library patrons who would otherwise lack connected devices such as laptop or tablet computers and/or lack broadband access during the pandemic.
