Deciphering the LCAP: A user-friendly workshop
Parents, students, staff and community members are invited to bring budget questions to a hands-on workshop on SCUSD’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
The LCAP is the plan every California school district writes to outline goals to support students, and the actions and services to achieve those goals. Planned expenditures are detailed in the LCAP, as well.
The LCAP describes district-wide expenditures as well as school site-based. How do you know which is which? What do the codes in the LCAP mean? What funds does your school use? Please join us at the next hands-on LCAP workshop from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 11, at the Serna Center, where these and other questions will be answered for you.
