Camellia students learn to harvest and cook fresh veggies

In partnership with Soil Born Farms, Camellia Elementary School students harvested vegetables from the school’s garden plots and then learned how to cook them.

Students peeled, chopped, grated and stirred with their peers. The menu included butternut squash soup, grated potato ‘n’ greens fritters and warm lemon water with honey.
